Join Chisago SWCD and the East Metro Water Education Program to learn about native plants that can be used in gardens and along shorelines. 

We'll spend the first 30-min of our event indoors, talking about the ins and outs of gardening with native plants. Learn how to get started and how to identify the best plants for your yard. We'll also share before and after photos of native gardens and talk about different stages of growing. 

Then, we'll head outside to take a short walk through the Franconia Sculpture Park and visit some of the native plants growing on site.
